Treaxures
First guides in review

A field guide made with the people who live there.

Treaxures helps you understand a place before you arrive, move through it with care, and keep an honest record of how you travelled. Any place can have a guide here — but only after local people have reviewed it. Aizawl, Mizoram is where the first one is being built.

Routes remain previews until local review, safety checks, rights, and source notes are complete. We do not publish invented ratings or blanket verification claims.

First route

We’d rather get one route right than list a hundred.

We’ll release the first public route only after it has been field-tested, reviewed by local editors, cleared for place-specific consent, and checked for access and safety. Until then, you can see exactly where it stands.

Aizawl Field Guide — Pilot Preview

A look at the evidence and care standards we’re using to build routes in Aizawl. It isn’t bookable or published yet.

We’ll confirm timing and distance after the route audit.
The Impact Passport

Every number on your passport can show where it came from.

We keep culture, community, care, and environmental estimates separate, so it stays clear what each one counts and what it doesn’t.

Transaction-linked

Culture

Heritage-fund and creator contributions are shown only when tied to completed payment records.

Confirmed action

Community

Local support comes from a confirmed visit, purchase, or partner acknowledgement. It isn’t a moral score.

Observed

Care

Respectful actions are kept as contextual records. They are not collapsed into a public rank or percentile.

Estimated

Earth

Walking emissions figures are estimates with a named baseline, versioned factor, and visible assumptions.

What a place has to clear

The same four gates, wherever a guide comes from.

A guide is only as good as its relationships on the ground. Nowhere is locked out and nowhere is waved through — we just won’t list a place we haven’t spent real time in. Aizawl is the first through.

01Named local editorial participation

How it works

The four habits the guide is built around.

01

Understand

Read source-labelled place stories and the local context needed before arriving.

02

Move with care

Follow place-specific guidance for access, photography, sacred spaces, and community privacy.

03

Contribute

Choose locally accountable experiences and see transaction-linked contributions without inflated claims.

04

Keep a record

Keep an Impact Passport of stories, contributions, confirmed actions, and qualified estimates, private by default.

Before launch

Want to help us get the first guide right?

Treaxures is in pre-launch development. Store links, user counts, reviews, and guide availability will appear only when they are real and independently traceable.
