Treaxures
Why Treaxures exists

We wanted a way to show care for a place without turning it into a scoreboard.

Treaxures is a cultural field guide and a personal Impact Passport. It helps you learn the context of a place, follow local guidance, support work that answers to the community, and keep an honest record of your own stewardship.

01

Local authority is named

Treaxures does not use a blanket “expert verified” badge. Each published story should identify its sources, contributor role, review state, and correction path.

02

Evidence stays legible

Transactions, confirmed actions, observations, and estimates are kept separate. The product does not turn them into a public comparison, percentile, or status tier.

03

Media carries provenance

Local images require an agreed commission or licence, subject consent where applicable, an accurate caption, creator credit, and an internal rights record.

04

Review, not geography, is the gate

Treaxures is an open platform — no region is locked out and none is waved through. A guide reaches the public catalogue only after local, field, safety, accessibility, source, rights, and contributor review. The catalogue is small because that review is slow, not because the map is.
